Jeon Jungkook news (Korean: born September 1, 1997), referred to mononymously as Jungkook, is a South Korean musician and composer. He is the newest member and singer of the South Korean boy band BTS. He also sang the music for the Bangtan webtoon 7Fates: Chakho, titled “Stay Alive.” His appearance on American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth’s 2022 single “Left and Right,” which peaked at number 22 in the U.S. Billboard’s Hot 100
Growth and Learning in Childhood:
Jeon Jung-kook (Korean: ) was conceived on September 1, 1997, in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older brother and parents. He went to Baekyang Elementary and Junior High in Bali. After becoming a trainee, Jungkook enrolled in Singu Junior High in Seoul. As a child, Jeongguk wanted to be a badminton player, but after seeing G-Dragon play “Tearjerker” on television, he changed his mind and decided to pursue a career in music instead.
In 2011, Jungkook tried out in Daegu, South Korea for the talent show Superstar K[8]. Although he was not chosen, seven different entertainment groups offered him roles. After seeing RM, now his bandmate and leader in BTS, perform, he decided to become a training officer under Big Hit Entertainment.
He spent the summer of 2012 in Los Angeles, attending dance classes at Movement Lifestyle to prepare for his debut. In June of that year, he made a cameo appearance in Jo Kwon’s “I’m Da One” song video and started working as a professional dancer for Glam.
School Of Performance
In 2017, he graduated from the arts high school, School of Performance Arts Seoul. In November 2016, he decided not to take the CSATs, which is Korea’s nationwide test for college admission. He graduated from Global Cyber University and the University of Communication and Media in March 2022. He received the university’s top distinction, the President’s Award.
On June 12- 2013 with the release of the single 2 Cool 4 Skool [15] Jungkook made his debut as a member of BTS.
He has since released three solo songs under the BTS banner the first the pop track Begin from the 2016, soundtrack Wings told the story of his early move to Seoul to pursue an idol career and expressed gratitude to his fellow members for looking out for him.
Express Yourself
On April 5, 2018, as a prelude to the third installment of BTS‘ “Express Yourself” series, the group released a futuristic bass tune called “Euphoria” along with a nine-minute short video. The song, which DJ Swivel produced, reached #5 on the Billboard Bubble Top 100. On August 24, the album Love Yourself: Answer came out. It had the full studio version.
My Time
His third solo single, is a strobing R&B ballad about missing adolescence due to his career, and it peaked at 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The album appears as the band’s seventh studio album, Map of the Soul, released in 2020. Both “Exhilaration” and “My Time” by K-pop artists have spent a record-breaking 90 and 85 weeks, respectively, on the Billboard World Download Song Sales list.
On two of BTS’s singles—”Love Isn’t Over” and “Miracle Shop”—Jungkook is listed as the primary producer.
On October 25, 2018, President Moon Jae-in of South Korea bestowed Jungkook and the rest of BTS with the Informally defined Order of Cultural Merit, 5th Class, for their contributions to the arts and culture of the country.
In July 2021, President Moon Jae-in named him Special President Envoy for Coming Generations and Culture. His job is to lead the international agenda for the next generation, which includes things like sustained growth and “advancing South Korea’s international efforts and global position” abroad.

SBS Gayo Daejoon 2018: Jungkook, “Boy With Luv”
In September 2015, Jungkook joined other Korean artists in the “One Dream, One Korea” protest movement, performing a song together to honor the victims of the Korean War. The song debuted at the One K Live performance in Seoul on Oct. 15, after its initial release in September.
Jungkook joined the cast of Flower Crew in 2016 for the show’s premiere. On Celebrity Bromance, he went by the name “Fence Installation Man,” and in King of Mask Singer, he competed under the same alias in episode 72.
Special Collaboration Stage
On the special collaboration stage at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards on November 6, 2018, Jungkook performed “We Don’t Trust Anyone anymore” with the song’s original singer, Charlie Puth. He had already covered the song twice before, once on his own and once with fellow BTS member Jimin.
As part of BTS’ annual comeback festivities, on June 4, 2020, Jeongguk made his song “Still Of You” available for free on streaming services like Sound Cloud. The song features “tinkling synths, gently strummed guitars, and brushed drums,” as described by Billboard. Jungkook made the whole thing.
In February of 2022, Jungkook provided vocals for a new BTS-centric webtoon called 7Fates: Chakho.
The song, “Stay Alive,” was written by Jungkook and produced by Suga, another member of BTS, and it debuted at number 95 on the Billboard 200 chart and number eight on the Outdoor Advertising Global Excl. U.S. chart. It debuted at number 89 on the Official Singles Chart in the United Kingdom, making it the highest-charting Korean soundtrack ever. On June 24th, they released another joint effort, the single “Left and Right,” which featured Jungkook and Puth.
Influence and effect
Gallup Korea found that in 2019, Jungkook was the third most popular celebrity in South Korea.
After entering the rankings in 2016, he moved up in 2017 and 2018. For the whole year of 2018, Jungkook topped the most popular celebrities in China chart published by the magazine Hi China. Also, Jungkook has a massive fanbase that makes him a social media phenomenon. A video of him performing in the studio went viral in South Korea in December of 2018, receiving the most retweets of any tweet there. Many creatives, like Kim Quang and Hyeongseop X Euiwoong, have pointed to him as an inspiration and a role model. A few of Jungkook’s musical influences are the Biebs, Timberlake, and Usher.
Due to his immense popularity, Jungkook is sometimes referred to as the “Sold Out King,”
as the products that he photographs are often soldofteell out. Shoes puffy fabric softener wine books including the hugely popular I Decided to Live as Me by Kim. It’s Just So in both Korea and Japan and the Hanbok are all examples.
After photos of Jungkook in a “Modern Hanbok” circulated in the Korean media, celebrities including Jun Seong, Jang Do-Yeon, Liu Hyo-jin, MC Oh Seung-hwan, and Park Joo-ho from “The Return of Superman” were reportedly inspired to follow suit.
According to Google’s mid-year list, Jungkook is the most searched-for male S & N idol of 2019.
In 2020, he once again topped the charts, and in both 2019 and 2020, he was the most-searched K-pop star on YouTube. For three years in a row, he topped Tumblr’s list of the “Top K-Pop Stars. His 2019[54] and 2020 tweets were the most retweeted of all time on Twitter.
In March 2021 Jungkook’s solo live broadcast shattered the milestone for the most genuine viewers in V Live history with over 22 million simultaneous viewers. Previously, in October 2018, Jungkook had broken the record for the most viewers with over 3.7 million.
His tattoos were used by a legislator from the Justice Party in South Korea in June 2021 to advocate for the legalization of tattoos in the country, which is governed by strict laws.
People on the internet were outraged by the lawmaker’s statements, with many claiming that he was using Jungkook’s notoriety for political gain. John Geesnell Yap, mayor of Tagbilaran, Philippines, used pictures of Jungkook from the same year to promote getting the COVID vaccine.
Intimate sphere
When Jungkook was performing in Chile in 2017, he passed out onstage. His illness that day was a one-off with no deeper medical cause, as it turned out. Due to a heel injury, he sustained during the 2018 Love Yourself World Tour, he was unable to do the choreography and had to sing from a chair for a good portion of the European part of the tour.
This past November, Jungkook was engaged in a collision with a cab. Due to the lack of serious injuries on either side, the two parties were able to reach a mutually agreeable settlement.
Jungkook and his bandmates relocated to Seoul’s Hannam-dong neighborhood in 2018.
In July 2019, he spent $4 billion on a residence in Seoul’s Yongsan District, which he would give to his older brother in November 2020.
In July 2021, it was reported that Jungkook was worth $20 million.
